Colors of You; Custom Abstract Palette Portrait Commission
This series of commissions is an abstract take on our most important connections and relationships, and how our experiences with our loved ones build a completely unique symphony of emotions and associations.
Your custom commissioned artwork is designed with a completely unique color palette that will evoke an instant memory or any person, place, memory, or experience.
You will need to submit 1 photo (wedding photos, family portraits, or any photo of a person, landscape, or object that you want to memorialize are perfect for this project!) and 3-5 sentences describing the subject of your photo.
I will then create a completely unique color palette inspired by your submission, and abstract that palette into a beautiful piece of everlasting memory that will strum your heartstrings and make you smile every time you walk past your custom art.
In addition to your custom painting, you'll also get a few progress photos and video of the art being made, and you'll receive a link to purchase goods like stationary, prints, pillows, mugs, etc featuring an image of the artwork. This is a great way to share the memory within your painting with family or friends.
For Example:
You supply me with a picture of your wedding day, with you and your new spouse smiling and walking down the aisle together for the first time as a married couple. The photo is mostly neutral tones, whites, and natural colors but it also showcases the pink, gold, and champagne colors of your wedding theme.
You also write a few sentences about that day, what you remember most and how giddy, warm, and excited you felt after you said, "I do".
I then take that photo, extract a beautiful and complimentary color palette from it, and create an enveloping 48" x 48" canvas showcasing your wedding colors and the effortless, natural aesthetic of your Big Day.
